We’re well into the year, and it’s around this time that business owners look back at their goals and often think – “We’ve not made any progress with that so far!”

Can you relate? You’re not alone. You start the year full steam ahead, and then life and other business tasks get in the way. So let’s do something about it. Together. I want you to begin thinking about how you can build leverage

Leverage is one of the critical components and frameworks for success in any business and industry. It’s critical. It is how you do more with less

To become a successful business owner, you must be an advanced student of this concept called leverage. Today, I was hoping you could spend some time thinking about how you can leverage your systems and processes

How can you leverage your systems?

Leveraging systems is about replicating the processes that work over time. Then, you must ensure that you follow the techniques you’ve created.

Businesses have systems for a reason. It’s not to stifle creativity or keep people in a box. It’s because they work. To create systems, figure out what is working in your business and then build on that.

Putting these systems in place means taking some pressure off you as the business owner.

For example, if someone isn’t sure what to do on a job, instead of coming to you and taking up your time, you have a system in place that helps them work through it by themselves or as part of their team.

You should consider issues such as:

  • How can you make sure the right people are doing the right things?
  • What can you automate?
  • What can you delegate?
  • What can you outsource?
  • What shouldn’t you be doing?

Then, once the system is up and running, innovate and evolve the system to perfect it.

It would help if you had a predictable road map and a beaten track to get somewhere; you don’t need to be Robinson Crusoe. Please take what you’re already doing and make it work for you.
