The A Team
Behind every great business owner is a great team right? And that’s the same for Business Benchmark Group. Every member of the team is involved, included and as interested in the success of your business, as you are.
We have built a team-culture based around tenacity and an attitude of ‘whatever it takes’. Personal best is the name of the game for our team, it’s not something that can be taught. We can’t coach this. Building a team of A graders who have tenacity isn’t easy but for us it is non-negotiable.
A culture to be 1% better every single day ensures that we stay ahead of the game. If we lose it’s got to hurt. But we are not failures, we have failed. There’s a difference because success is wrapped in failure. We learn from the failure and move on.
We believe that having an abundant mindset as opposed to a scarcity mindset is crucial to not only how we live our lives but also how we lead our lives, both personally and in business.
We believe there is enough for everyone and we demand this of everyone in our team. An abundant mindset brings fulfilled objectives and goals that ensure success and the life we desire and deserve.
We are building a team based on giving rather than receiving which opens up a whole world of possibilities. Success is something that you attract by being abundant.
High performance culture
We foster an environment defining and communicating business’ goals and measuring them alongside workplace performance. What does that mean?
To achieve the maximum buy-in from all members of our team, we have ensured that everyone is made to feel important and included. We make sure that we have the right person matched to the right job ensuring that each team member has the ability to be fulfilled in their chosen role.
As an organisation we invest in training and development to ensure that we build more productive work cultures ensuring that everyone is valued as an individual and growing with the business. Everyone is constantly striving to achieve maximum results in minimum time.
We know that effective team meetings run on a regular basis and with an agenda, allow for us to be fully engaged as a whole team, provide a common understanding and boost productivity.
They also increase the effectiveness of our decision making, ensure that problems are faced head on and ensure that the whole team is on the same page; everyone pulling together achieves more.
Run correctly, they are effective and productive and are a great way to share information and obtain instant feedback.
Acknowledging a person’s career and personal goals and committing to a roadmap together as the vehicle to their success is at the heart of what we do, for our clients and our team.
All members of the team have invested heart and mind to the cause and we share the importance of a ‘better quality of life’ for every member of the team.
We understand that a great personal life and a great professional life work together hand in hand and we have created an environment that encourages and embraces just that.
Building a team based on fun is non-negotiable for us. We work hard, very hard and therefore it is important to ensure that we take some time out to do some fun things too.
We know that happy people are productive people. Having fun boosts morale and motivation and significantly improves team culture. It also enhances team satisfaction and loyalty. Fun and laughter in the office helps to build workplace relationships and increases teamwork.
As Dale Carnegie once said “People rarely succeed unless they are having fun in what they are doing”. It’s as simple as walking into the office with a twinkle in your eye and a spring in your step.
Integrity is one of the fundamental values that we look for when seeking new team members. It’s the hallmark of a person who displays ethical and moral principals in all areas of their life.
A team member with integrity lives his or her values in relationships with everyone they meet. Trust and honesty are vital to integrity as are trustworthy and dependable.
If it doesn’t look right, feel right or smell right the team won’t do it. We have and still are living and breathing our very words. We never suggest a strategy or response if we wouldn’t implement in our own business.
